First of all, I must say that I have owned many pairs of headphones over the years. I have been hesitant to buy "true cordless" headphones. I have a propensity to treat my electronics badly. I am a former, avid runner and exercise regularly still, and work outside around my house constantly so, I am never wanted to have to treat my equipment with kid gloves. And, I didn't want to be constantly worried about losing my headphones. In fact, I have 3 pairs of cheap wireless headphones (not truly wireless, as they are wired together) that I keep in my gym bag. I read about the galaxy ear buds and their ability to amplify outside sound when needed which appealed to me since I have become a bit hard of hearing over the years. I found these for a good price and so far have loved them. The amplification of outside sound is less-than-perfect. I was driving home from work the other day and something kept tripping this and so the sound kept cutting out which was frustrating. I could toggle this feature off but not so when driving 70mph down the freeway. But, overall: love them. The sound is amazing. I didn't know what I was missing with the cheap headphones that I have always bought. Pairing is soooo simple.
It is tough to sort through dozens of TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS to find the right buds. I chose these based on my previous experience with galaxy buds+, they have the best sound quality in this segment right next to sony's flagship. These were a no-brainer for me seeing as they're a direct improvement from the buds+. I really like what they've done with these and I recommend them to anybody look for something comparable to airpod pro's. The airpod pro's and buds pro can do all of the same things, but Samsung's execution is a much needed refinement of the Apple's platform.
As someone who has been used to listening to music on Class A equipment, i.e. Amps, Pre-Amps, Tuners, etc. which I have spent Tens of Thousands of dollars on, I can tell you, without a doubt, these are the finest Ear Buds out there for personal listening. These are easily as good as my $500+ Sennheiser Headphones!
I haven't been this excited about a purchase in many years. This is truly Audiophile level equipment and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyon
The sound is awesome, the ambient noise mode awesome, hear every thing going on around you plus they added voice recognition so if you talk it lowers the music and turns on the out side microphone so you hear every thing. Completely amazing!!! My only complaint is that I guess my ears are a little small so after wearing them for hours my ears get a little painful but well worth it lol
Only reason I marked battery 4 starts is because I know there are head phones out there that last longer but not with every thing these had phones can do
On another note if you turn off the ambient sound or the noise canceling part the music doesn't sound too great but with either one turned on music sounds great
I originally purchased Jabra 75t's as that was getting far more recommendations and seemed to have the features that I desired, however, I very quickly realized that they were not what I wanted and returned them. The main issue being that despite having had noise cancelling added at some point, it just wasn't nearly as good as I felt like would be required to be useful at all. Furthermore, while you *can* use a single one of the Jabras on it's own, if you do so it must only be the right one, as using the left one on it's own isn't supported, which turned out to be a nightmare.
These Samsung ones are much better, as far as I can tell the sound quality is (from an experience perspective) as good or better, the case is similar size which is to say nice and small, but you get wireless charging, you can use either earbud on their own which is much nicer, and most importantly the noise cancelling actually works. It works so surprisingly well that I couldn't stop testing it with different background noises and was impressed every time.
